Church of Agia Paraskevi Xenia in Kastoria

The Church of Agia Paraskevi Xenia, one of the significant post-Byzantine churches in Kastoria, is located in the Doltso area and serves as a place of worship and cultural heritage. The church dates back to the 17th century and follows the single-nave basilica type with a wooden roof, characteristic of churches from that period. Its architecture is simple, with stone masonry and mud as a binding material, and it includes a narthex on the western side.

The interior of the church is decorated with rich frescoes, belonging to the post-Byzantine artistic period. Although some of the frescoes have suffered damage, they depict scenes from the life of Agia Paraskevi, as well as representations of saints and Gospel scenes.
